慈濟基金會45周年慶

慈濟基金會美國華府分會誠摯地邀請您與您的家人、朋友,一起來參加一年一度的佛誕日、母親節、暨全球慈濟日慶祝活動。

今年適逢慈濟基金會成立45周年,慶祝活動將於5月8日(週日)上午10時至下午2時在北維Lake Anne Village Center (Washington Plaza W, Reston, VA 20190, 華府分會會所後方) 舉行。此次活動包括浴佛典禮、環保素食博覽會、及表演節目等內容。希望在感念佛恩、親恩、天地恩的同時,也讓社區大德有機會了解、體驗「素食減碳愛地球」的重要,與簡單易行的方法。此外,當天也將有志業靜態展,並備有素食點心及壽桃結緣。

請注意:如果下雨,所有活動將移至華府會所(1516 Moorings Drive, Reston, VA 20190)舉行。如果您有興趣參加,請聯繫慈濟會所703-707-8606 。

Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation Celebrates Its 45th Anniversary
In Lake Anne Village Center

This year the celebration will be held in Lake Anne Village Center (Washington Plaza W, Reston, VA 20190) on Sunday, May 8 from 10 am to 2 pm. It will include Buddha’s birthday ceremony, and a green/veggie expo that will promote environmental sustainability strategies and healthy lifestyles. In addition, there will be various activities to celebrate Mother’s Day. It will be a great experience for the community and the general public!

Please come join us to celebrate this special occasion. Light vegetarian refreshments will be served throughout the event.

In case of inclement weather, the celebration will be moved indoors to our facilities at 1516 Moorings Drive, Reston, VA 20190.
